This is a document aimed specifically at potential candidates in the next UK general election, and gives detailed information of the whole process as it relates to the legislation. A Welsh language version of this guidance will be available for download in the near future. Also available for downloading here, is The House of Commons Disqualification Act 1975, which lists the offices that disqualify a person from membership of the House of Commons. We have also produced a factsheet on standing at a UK Parliamentary general election, and an accompanying Welsh version.
