About the Scottish Parliamentary Parties Panel
We meet with the political parties represented in the Scottish Parliament on a quarterly basis and this group is known as the Scottish Parliament Political Parties Panel (SPPP). The panels remit is the same as the Parliamentary Parties Panel, to submit information to us about matters affecting political parties but, in this case, in the Scottish Parliament.
SPPP members
The panel is composed of a representative from each of the Parliaments political parties with two or more sitting MPs. In the current Parliament there are five such parties: the Scottish National Party, the Scottish Labour party, the Scottish Liberal Democrats, the Scottish Green party and the Scottish Conservative party.
The SPPP meets quarterly, but with the option to vary frequency to meet need.
