About the Northern Ireland Assembly Parties Panel
We meet with the political parties represented in the Northern Ireland Assembly on a quarterly basis and this group is known as the Northern Ireland Assembly Parties Panel (APP). The panels remit is the same as the Parliamentary Parties Panel, to submit information to us about matters affecting political parties but, in this case, in the Northern Ireland Assembly.
APP members
The panel is composed of a representative from each of the Assembly's political parties. In the current Assembly there are five such parties: Sinn Fein, the Social Democratic and Labour Party, the Democratic Unionist Party, the Ulster Unionist Party, and the Green Party.
The APP meets quarterly, but with the option to vary frequency to meet need.
