The marked electoral register
This report sets out The Electoral Commission's views and recommendations on the role of the marked electoral register, as a part of our wider programme of reviews of electoral law and practice. The Commission's recommendations are aimed at setting a coherent framework for access to and supply of the marked electoral register. This report considers the main issues related to the marked register including: its use as an election management tool to improve security and combat fraud, public access to it and its supply to political parties and others.
