On 3 March 2011 a referendum was held in Wales on the law-making powers of the National Assembly for Wales.
Our public awareness campaign for the referendum aimed to ensure that all eligible electors in Wales were aware that the referendum was taking place and that they understood how they could take part. We also conducted some advertising to direct them to the information booklet we that we produced.
Information booklet
As part of the campaign, each household in Wales received a booklet in the post with important information on the referendum .

Our online advertising launched on 24 January to encourage people to register to vote before the deadline.

The rest of the online campaign launched on 28 January to ensure that eligible electors were aware of the referendum.
