We have now launched our Northern Ireland voter registration campaign in the run-up to the UK general election, which will be held on Thursday 6 May 2010.
Our campaigns in Northern Ireland follow a slightly different strategy to campaigns in Great Britain. This is due to the need to deliver specific voter information for Northern Ireland that is different from that required for Great Britain. So as well as running a registration campaign, we are also running a campaign to help people remember their photographic ID on polling day.
This year's campaign uses a new creative 'Make sure nothing stops you voting'. This highlights the importance of being registered to vote. The campaign consists of TV, radio, press and online adverts for both phases of the campaign. In addition to this, we are also using outdoor posters during the voter information phase of the campaign as the election date approaches.
