Performance standards for Electoral Registration Officers in Great Britain
In March 2008 we published a consultation on performance standards for EROs (PDF). The consultation paper outlined draft performance standards for EROs and sought views and comments on both the overall set of performance standards and the definition and format of individual standards.
We then published a response to this consultation on performance standards for EROs (PDF) and our performance standards for Electoral Registration Officers (PDF), to be reported against by EROs in January 2009. We have also made available performance standards for Electoral Registration Officers - Welsh version (PDF).
Guidance to assist EROs in completing their self-assessment against the performance standards can be found on our Electoral registration guidance page and the self assessment form can be found on our Assessment criteria page.The form is to be returned to the regional or devolved office by 16 January 2009.
