Our plan for the next five years In 2007-8, we set out our strategic direction for the next five years. This updated corporate plan outlines the activities we plan to undertake to meet those objectives.
The plan shows how we will continue work towards our aim of integrity and public confidence in the UK's democratic process. It outlines our central purpose - to set and guarantee standards in key areas of democratic life in the UK, primarily the regulation of party and election finance, and ensuring effective electoral administration, including through a new performance standards framework for Returning Officers and Electoral Registration Officers.
