Resources
The frequently asked questions (FAQ) document is designed as a template to help you answer some of the common questions you may be asked by voters. It is primarily designed for you to share on your website, however you may also want to include this information in newsletters or in any other channels you use to reach your residents.
The document can be edited to fit the needs of your local authority. You will see yellow prompts where local amendments might be needed, but please do feel free to tailor the document as you see fit.
Please bear in mind that the information contained here is accurate as of Thursday 18 February. You should keep the contents under review, to ensure you’re providing voters with the most up to date guidance available.
These resources do not reference a specific election, so can be used in any area in England.
If you require the artwork files for these resources, please email your request to our partnerships team: partners@electoralcommission.org.uk
Letter template
We have developed a template letter that you can use in your communication with clinically extremely vulnerable people in England. The template is designed to inform them of the voting options available and the safety measures in place at polling stations, in order to support voters in making the best decision for them. The document can be edited to fit the needs of your local authority so do feel free to tailor this as you see fit.
These resources are specifically for the Scottish Parliament election.
