The Welsh Language Standards
On this page you can find out about our responsibilities under the Welsh Langauge Standards set by the Welsh Language Commissioner. We are committed to the provision of a bilingual service in Wales.
The Commission received the compliance notice from the Welsh Language Commissioner on 25 July 2016. This document includes all the standards we are required to comply with by 25 January and 25 July 2017 (PDF). The standards we are required to comply with by a later date will be added when we are required to comply with them.
As part of our obligations to adhere to the standards we have published a report on the standards for the 2016-17 financial year. In practice, since 25 January 2017 was our imposition date, this is a report on the standards for the period between 25 January and 31 March 2017, our financial year-end. You can read the report here (PDF).
Each member of staff within the Commission is responsible for considering the provision of a bilingual service and in accordance with our equality and diversity policies.
