#ReadyToVote campaign

On this page you can download our resources to promote voter engagement among 16- and 17-year-olds in Scotland.

The 2017 Scottish council elections are the first Scotland-wide council elections in which 16- and 17-year-olds can vote.

You can help young people get #ReadyToVote by running a registration event at your school, college or youth centre on 1 March 2017 – #ReadyToVote day.

Don’t worry if you can’t run an event on 1 March as you can still get behind the campaign by running an event anytime up to the electoral registration deadline on 17 April in Scotland.

Thanks for getting involved! If you have any questions, please email us.

These resources are everything you need to run your #ReadyToVote registration event.
