Conclusion of the count (Police and Crime Commissioner election only)

As soon as practicable at the conclusion of the count (including any re-count) you must prepare a statement.1  

This statement must include the total number of votes given to each candidate, the total number of ballot papers used and the number of rejected ballot papers under each heading.2

You must provide the statement to the PARO.

As soon as the PARO has received the local totals from across the police area, the PARO must ascertain the total number of votes given in the police area to each candidate
