Guidance for Candidates and Agents at Combined County Authority Mayoral elections

If you are employed by the fire and rescue authority, you are disqualified from standing as a candidate at a combined county authority mayoral election where the Mayor takes on the police, fire and crime functions.1

You are also disqualified from being elected if you are either:2

• the London Fire Commissioner
• a member of staff of the London Fire Commissioner
