During the declaration of results, you should ensure that you and your supporters comply with any instruction given by the Greater London Returning Officer (GLRO) or the Constituency Returning Officer (CRO) regarding the standards of behaviour required during the verbal announcements.

The GLRO will declare the results, once all the constituency counts have been completed.1
The CRO will inform the candidates and agents who are present, of the local count totals and the statement of rejected ballot papers once the GLRO has given approval. The GLRO will also inform the CRO when they can declare the local results.

The GLRO will advise when the CRO can inform any candidates and agents present and declare the local result.
The CRO will give public notice of the result.
The CRO will publish a notice with the name of each candidate and their description (if any), the number of votes for all candidates, and the number of rejected ballot papers.
What happens to the paperwork after the results are announced?
The CRO must seal all election documentation, add a description of the contents to each packet and forward them on to the ERO.3
