The nomination form and the consent to nomination must be submitted by hand and cannot be submitted by post, fax, email or other electronic means.1
The only exception to this is where a candidate is overseas and the Regional Returning Officer considers it impracticable for the consent to be delivered in writing, in which case it may be submitted electronically.
The original version of each completed paper must be submitted. A consent which has been sent as an attachment to an email to be printed out, for example, would make it a copy document and not the original document.
