Once all voters who have been issued with ballot papers have voted, the ballot box(es) are sealed by the Presiding Officer and polling agents can add their own seal if they wish.1
After the Presiding Officer has completed all of the paperwork, the sealed ballot box(es) are taken to the count venue.
