Introduction
The Electoral Commission are looking for primary and secondary teachers from across Wales to participate in a new forum to improve the delivery and consistency of democratic education across Wales. The forum will focus on building knowledge amongst teachers and pupils of all ages, and a key and ongoing focus of the forum will be the devolved elections in 2026 and 2027 where 16–17-year-olds will be eligible to vote. Previous experience of teaching politics/democracy is welcomed but not necessary. If you are interested in taking part, please register via this form.
