Our plans, priorities and spending
Our Corporate Plans
The plans set out what our goals and priorities are and how we’re going to achieve them. We set a new five-year year plan after:
- a UK Parliament general election. The Speaker’s Committee considers the plan before it is laid in Parliament.
- Senedd election. This is considered by the Llywydd’s Committee and laid before the Senedd.
- In Scotland, the UK Corporate Plan is submitted to the Scottish Parliament Corporate Body (SPCB) for examination of the Scottish devolved functions within the plan. The SPCB may make recommendations to the Speaker’s Committee on the plan before it is laid in the Scottish Parliament. Following the 2026 Scottish Parliament election a separate Scottish Corporate Plan will be submitted to the SPCB for examination before it is laid in Parliament.
Annual reports and accounts
Our annual reports and accounts include a performance report, an accountability report, and our financial statements. We prepare these each year in summer, following the end of the financial year. The Speaker’s Committee, the Llywydd’s Committee and Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body consider these reports in their scrutiny of our performance.

Equality, diversity and inclusion
Equality and diversity is important to us and what we do. In our strategy, we set out what we do now, and what we want to achieve in the future. We also keep a register of Equality Impact Assessment screenings that we have carried out.
