Conclusion of the count and finalising of local totals for London-wide Assembly Member and Mayoral elections
The local totals of the number of votes given at the London-wide Assembly Member election and the Mayoral election must be finalised and sent to City Hall at the same time as the Constituency Assembly Member election is declared.
You must forward the statements of local totals to the GLRO as soon as practicable after the statements are ready,1
to allow for the local totals to be aggregated. The statements must contain:
o does not contain an official mark o votes given for more than one party or individual candidate o voter identification o unmarked o void for uncertainty
number of votes given for each registered party
numbers of votes cast for each individual candidate
As soon as the GLRO has received the local totals from across the Greater London area, the GLRO must ascertain the total number of votes given in each of the contests to each candidate / party
