New resources to help raise awareness about postal vote reapplications

We have developed a new set of materials to support you to inform voters about postal vote applications.

These new resources will help you:
  • Remind voters that postal vote applications must now be renewed every three years.
  • Emphasise the deadline of 31 January 2026 for anyone who applied on or before 30 January 2024, to ensure their postal vote does not expire.
Resources include:
  • Posters
  • An A5 flyer
  • Social media graphics and template posts
  • A web banner 

These materials sit alongside our wider set of resources on postal and proxy voting that were created to help you raise awareness of the changes that were introduced by the Elections Act 2022. 

Voter information resources 

We also have a range of broader voter information materials that includes both printed and digital resources that you might find helpful.  The set includes some on different ways to vote.
