May 2026 elections: EC webinar for candidates and agents
Ahead of May’s local government elections that are taking place in England, we are hosting a webinar for candidates and agents on Wednesday 4 March 12:00 - 13:00. It will provide an overview of the key aspects of the guidance. It is an opportunity to gain essential information on the nominations processes, imprint requirements, spending and reporting requirements and candidate security. The session will contain practical hints and tips to support your understanding of your obligations and how to apply the law in practice.

We are currently recruiting to the following positions in our Electoral Guidance team:
• Senior Adviser (Electoral Guidance)
• Senior Adviser (Guidance Reform) x 2
The team is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate and accessible guidance and resources, and for providing expert advice on electoral practice.
