Terms and conditions of free prize draw
The prize draw is open to each school, college, university or youth group that has completed the Welcome to Your Vote Week evaluation survey.
This prize draw is free to enter. Upon completion of the feedback survey and by entering your contact details, you will automatically be entered into the prize draw.
All responses to the surveys must be submitted via the Survey Monkey link provided and only one entry per institution is permitted.
The closing date of the prize draw is midnight on 6 April 2025. Entries received after this time will not be included in the prize draw but will still be considered as part of the evaluation.
If for any reason a technical interruption, fault or site failure occurs when submitting entries, The Electoral Commission accepts no responsibility for incomplete or failed submissions and any incomplete submissions will not be considered valid for entry into the prize draw.
A winner will be chosen by random draw within one month of the closing date for responses to the survey.
The winner will receive £500 towards resources of your choosing.
The winner will be notified by email within seven days of the draw.
The decision of the Electoral Commission regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
The name and county of the winning organisation will be published on the Electoral Commission’s website within 14 days of the draw. If you object to the name of your institution being published or made available, please contact the Electoral Commission.
Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Electoral Commission reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
The Electoral Commission reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
The Electoral Commission is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and will only use your personal information in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and the Electoral Commission’s Privacy Policy. See also condition 10 with regard to the announcement of winners.
By entering, you agree that any personal information provided by you with your entry may be held and used by the Electoral Commission or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition.
The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
