Our teams
The Northern Ireland team is responsible for:
overseeing the electoral process for Northern Ireland Assembly Elections, UK parliamentary elections, and local council elections
working with elected members and officials of the Northern Ireland Assembly
working with the Northern Ireland Office, Electoral Office for Northern Ireland, local authorities, and relevant public sector and voluntary bodies in Northern Ireland
handling enquiries and requests for advice from the public and relevant organisations on electoral matters
managing the Accredited Electoral Observer scheme across the UK
providing public awareness information and work with partner organisations in Northern Ireland to promote voter registration
providing electoral administrators, candidates, parties and non-party campaigners with advice and guidance to ensure elections are well-run
advising our colleagues on Northern Ireland specific electoral matters
