Once all the count totals from the voting areas have been added up by the PARO, the PARO will declare and give public notice of the result.
Some Returning Officers allow candidates to make speeches after the result is declared. Please check arrangements with the PARO. You should ensure that you and your supporters comply with any instructions given by the PARO regarding the standards of behaviour required during verbal announcements.
