Stage 1

We will conduct an initial review to ensure that your application contains the required information and documents, and that your fee has been paid. We will formally acknowledge the application.

If we identify issues that are straightforward to amend as part of our initial review, we will raise these with you so that you can consider them and make changes to your application if necessary. 

In these circumstances, we would put your application on hold for a reasonable period for you to consider them. This is usually one to two weeks, depending on the matters raised. Any changes to your application may need to be authorised by all party officers. If we do not hear from you, we will proceed with the information that was originally submitted.

The next stage of the application process will then begin. Please note that we may not be able identify all issues as part of our initial review, and until a final decision is taken on your application, we cannot confirm whether it will be successful.
