Partner resources for the May 2026 Senedd election in Wales

We're showing you content for:

On 7 May 2026, there is a Senedd election happening in Wales.

Organisations working directly with voters, including local authorities and charities, can play an important role in supporting voters ahead of the Senedd election.

We have created a range of resources to support people to register to vote and to provide information on the voting system and the Senedd.

Voter registration resources

To support our voter registration campaign, we have created a range of partner resources to help local authorities and civil society organisations promote voter registration.

These posters showcase representatives of groups we know are less likely to be registered including people experiencing homelessness, people with learning disabilities, Muslim women and Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities.

Voter information resources

These resources are designed to raise awareness on the changes to the Senedd, the new voting system and voting in person or via post or proxy.

Our suite of digital resources includes a variety of social media assets for use on Facebook, Instagram and X.

A3, A4 and A5 posters in 'commercial print' and 'ready-to-print' options.

Welcome to Your Vote resources

To support registration amongst 16-17 year olds and qualifying foreign nationals we have developed specific digital and print resources for these audiences.

Partner resources

These resources have been developed by partner organisations to support democratic engagement amongst specific groups.

In partnership with Age Cymru, we have developed guidance to help care staff support the people they care for to vote. While the resources are tailored for use in Wales, some of the guidance may also be helpful to those working in care homes and similar settings elsewhere in the UK.

Further easy-read resources can be found on the Learning Disability Wales website.

In partnership with RNIB Cymru, we have developed a pocket guide for blind and partially sighted voters on what to expect at the polling station.

Shelter Cymru have developed a resource pack and an online training module for staff supporting people experiencing homelessness and housing association tenants to register to vote and participate in the Senedd election.
