Copyright and trade marks

As it is not covered by electoral law, we do not make any checks for infringement of intellectual property rights when we register a party’s identity marks. So, before you apply, you should make sure that your identity marks are not breaching any copyright and trade mark laws.

If you register your party’s identity marks and then discover that they are infringing copyright or trademark, you could be subject to legal challenge by the registered owner.
